Imma Changin' me style

Well, that's pretty much it. The main reason is because of many comments I get that go something like this:

"Wow, your style reminds me of Ozy and Millie" or
"I keep thinking of O&M when I read your comic."

I'm sick of being like D.C. Yes, yes, I did base my style off his, but now, I'm creating my own style, my own stuff. I'm gonna be different and hopefull, out of this change, people will stop comparing me to D.C.

I noticed that the main reason people thought I was like D.C. was because of the hair tuffs on the side of the face. I personally never cared for my characters with such large hair tuffs, so after a wee bit of thinking on how to change the style, I fixed it.

Now this wasn't just some random change. I have considered this before, I just wasn't able to come up with how to do it.

...

Sorry I didn't post this in the other thread, but that's just become a spam thread now and I don't see a point in posting in it.

I like the older style personally, but the new one is making me go omgcute enough that it's tough for me to decide.

oooh...I'm like the new style a lot. It just seems less forced or something. Definitely cuter and more naturally suited to the big ears (you know I'm a fan of big ears.) It's always better to find "your own" style anyway.

Oh, while we're talking about your comic, I read it, um, what's the word...assiduously (at least I think that's the right word), and I like it well enough, except for one thing. D'you think you could probably pick up the pacing a bit? The story progresses even slower than Freefall. Just a suggestion. :)

Thanks for the comments people and Cameron:

It's hard to pick up the pacing with a strip. So little info can be put in. Don't worry, though. It's pretty much almost over.

Now I'm seeing the need for change in myself...

I Personally don't like it. The small hair tuffs and big as hell ears and muzzle doesn't really match and it looks really strange.

The bottom sketch reminds me of Felix Softpaw.

I like the big ears, personally. But, whatever.

You're opinion is important too.

I like the new style. The tufts are fine, and big ears are awesome.

New is a big improvement.

Look if you got me to actually post in the Fanworks section you must be doing something right.

Wow, your style reminds me of Ozy and Millie!
*Gets slapped*
Sorry, I could not resist. I like the new style, but I think it is more important to do it the way you want rather than the way everyone else wants.

PR, if YOU like what you're experimenting with, then go with it. If not, do something else. Save making other people happy for a career job. (Unless you're lucky enough to get a job doing something you like.)
