Super Power Redux

Postby Priest_Revan » Mon Nov 19, 2007 3:45 pm

Well, as most of you know (or do not know) a couple weeks... or months ago I drew a super power pic:

Image

Well, I got tired of that one because it really wasn't what I was going for when I originally drew it. So what I did now is that I showed improvement... to show that I practiced with this power. The power itself has the same basic look to it, but it has a couple of additions and removals. Here's the outcome of a little bit of practice:

Image

I still need a bit more practice with humans (has been a long time since I focused on drawing them), but for now, it will do.
If you put peanutbutter anywhere on your body, I'll lick it off...

ANYWHERE.

ImageMy deviantart... though it does suck.
My FA... nothing's on it right now, so there's no point to click it.

Additionally, he's less naked.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

Always a plus. More importantly, the wings on whatever his spectral manifestation there is actually look wingish. On the old one they just looked like ripped-up newspapers. :-P The flat purple coloring seems odd to me though--like there should be some more glow to it. Like it should be more transparent and ethereal.

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

I actually didn't want them to be transparent... the power is supposed to be sort of... paper-like.

Turns the power into power-snowflakes

The new one is a lot better PR!

Probably from a combination of eye position and nudity, reminding you of a non-anthro puppy. That's my guess.

I'm a little surprised that no pro-nudity furrs have clamored yet. (Me? Nope. I didn't appreciate the time I lost my towel in the Thingy game.)

I'm pro-furry-nudity. However, i can never say that again, because last time i did, Tavis (DC's Senior Moderator) PMed a warning to me.

That's dumb. People need to be more open minded.

...mainly people in power.

I've crossed that line already, so it's a bit late for me. Lol.

This new version is quite nice! Making it a full body shot like that was a good idea. I must say, I really like the fluffy jacket! ^-^
