Nah, I'd say sketch always has more emotion, warmth and 'alive'ness than the usual dead, clean, straight sterile line found in most webcomics.

I looks really cool that way and it is a nice change, but I think after a while it start to look a little too sketchy.

I think you put your feelings in the characters face on how much deep down you like the "messy" style. Also rather than a "messy" look, this just looks like a quick sketch you didn't care much for.
