Asterikboy86 asked me to make him a banner with his name and one of my characters on, and this is it.

Hope it's ok dude, and sorry about it being a little bigger than other banners. It's the first one I've done ^^;

How do you make banners?

First you pick a standard banner size, and paint something in your favorite image creation software.

If you wanna make it animate, you either use freebie utilities that have no optimization and spit out huge files, pay for good utilities, or warez said good utilities.

Well dude, as someone who's just completed their second year of Univercity, I will say that I am open to requests. No payment, other than a please and thank you (even If I botch it and make it poo)

Just bringing this up for one sec, I know Bringerofpie asked this already, but can i get like a step by step instruction of how to make banners?

the part im most confused about is... Pick a banner size.

oi, Im gonna try to explain this in full so you can help me.

I Want to create a banner that on one side is light, and on the other, Darkness, in the middle, is an image of me, I want text to read:

On darkness:
Black as Darkness

On lLight:
White as Light

In the middle:
Which do you choose?
:created persona of me:
I walk the border.


How the hell would i do this?

You want a signature banner right?
Kinda like my old one?
Just use some kind of art program.
Find pictures, copy and past them, and mess around with the colors.
If your problem is getting them online, just save it, and upload it to inamgechack or photobucket.

oi? OI? Well thats polite

And making a 'banner' as you hip guys call it, I still prefer signitures personally But yeah just get an image editing program, set the width and height to reasonable sizes then edit the image. The black to white stuff would just be a simple fill gradient and the image in the middle would just involve some cut and paste work. Its not too bad, just have some practice with an image editing program till you get the hang of it.

That's going onto my list of photoshop projects after making trophies for three awesome people, putting wings on a walrus, and finishing Cloud-Ozy.

Well I was bored today, plus i needed to think of a logo for a forum I started, so I kinda drew this:



Would this make a good Sig banner IF it were colored?

of course it would need to be colored right, as shown by my PhotoImpact skills at butchering it:



Mom's picki up Colored pencils thougfh some im gonna try hand coloring.

unless one of you very nice people with photoshop would like to try there hand at coloring it there...

Once I'm done with my other stuff, I'll do it. I need the practice. And as for Ozy, I think that I'm almost fun with the hand-drawing part, but the trophies take precedence as they need to be done by Saturday.
