I found this by accident and figured it was worth posting, seeing how virtually every drawing of O&M characters finds its way here eventually.

This was taken from "West Corner of the Park," whose creator attends, I swear, every furry convention in the country and has the best-known artists draw sketches of their characters. This is the bottom third of the one from the recent Midwest Furfest.

(For what it's worth, sooner or later I'm gonna have to go to one of those things; they sound like a lot of fun. That I have no car and that they nearly all take place during the school year really doesn't help any.)

I hope she's planning on some string pattern variants, or she's in for some serious boos when she goes to open mic night.

--Ammendum
I forgot to add that the second part is the most important beyond anything. "The truth babby" is what makes or breaks a song. If you want to reduce the number of chords, you can reduce the legnth of the song to match. For instance 3 Chords = 30 seconds to 50 seconds, 1 minute if you're really good but don't stretch your luck. 4 chords 1:30 to 2:45, but 5 chords is where variation starts really taking off, where you can stretch a song from a range of 3:00 to 5:00 easily. Once you go to 6-8 chords your song legnth becomes nearly limited by your own musical ability. 50 seconds is more than long enough to express a good to the point statement, so 3 chords is acceptable, but a 5 chord base with additional mild variant chords (substitute 7 for minor, etc) is really ideal for your average song.
--/Ammendum

!!deleted off topic segment because post ran long.!!

It's probably from an old joke of music, that pop-rock bands only had three chords to a song. No need to take things so seriously, amigo

I know Status Quo only had three chords and look at them now!
The end is nigh!

Maybe it refers to classic rock songs. But, yeah don't take it so seriously, this is wisdom for short attention spans remember, not a graduate thesis. I think

I found three more (I apologize for the annoying size of the last one):

The first one is from Midwest FurFest 2002; the second is from Further Confusion 2003, and the last one is from Midwest FurFest 2003.

If memory serves, that's all four Jim Groat art jams to which I've ever contributed.
