and for drawing things realistically, take a camera out to a city, and take photos of things, especially birds, 'cause wings are heck to draw, and use those for reference.

take as many of these 'stock photos' as you can and sort them out into whatever you want for easy reference.

Digital cameras are best, then you don't have to give the film to other people who are gonna wonder why in the world you take pictures of animals.

Don't forget Google Image Search is great for finding reference pics too...

Noting, except I kept taking it without permission. she thinks everything I touch breaks.

and it is a digital camera, pretty neat one two with 3x optical zoom and the size of a credit card.

and I prefer Yahoo.

Ok well I worked on the feet of my fursona, and for some reason, they look... scary... I like!



Plus I added a few Wrinkle marks here and there

Regarding photo references, I'd recommend using stock.xchng for stock photos. It's got loads of royalty-free photos, and you only need to register if you want to view the super-high-resolution images, and I think, for reference purposes, the medium-sized images are probably good enough. Everything off there is excellent, and I've used it for nearly all my recent projects that needed photos without issue.

I've found that Google Image Search isn't a very good tool for stock images, due to quality and copyright issues, but that's a whole different beast. Stock photo sites are much better, but most of them charge steep fees to get a photo large enough to actually work off of.

Ok, Now I have...

A Metallic Arm
Shreded Pants, Cloak, and Left Arm sleeve
A gun
Clawed feet and Hands
and wrinkles that have been strticigally placed along with "Shiniing points" on the metals



and If I end up redoing this again, your gonna see it with an Earing!

I know I did, I'm thinking about readding it so that it wraps around the Leg instead.

You said VIOLA instead of VOILA. A viola being an instrument that resembles a violin only a bit larger and with a slightly deeper sound.
