Yeah, after... what, 29 years? I happen to know for a fact that Jon and Liz were intended to wind up a couple from the very beginning, but apparently they only recently got around to it. How do I know this? The 25th anniversary book, "In Dog Years I'd Be Dead," contains the original character page from the mailer that got sent to feature editors to pitch the comic. Liz's description was: "Jon's vet. Later, his girlfriend. Then... who knows?"

'Cause I just mentioned it, maybe? As a matter of fact she was named after the song -- or more accurately, after the nonexistent dog once believed to be the inspiration for it.

This is why I named my characters after tiny little bands that people's mind's can't comprehend yet :wag:

And why did my mind not form a connection?? It's not like I haven't seen Can't Hardly Wait.

I'm guessing they aren't supposed to both be exactly the same thing...

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

What do you mean not proud of the artwork? I think it's great.

Nice new stuff Octan, but I'm confused. Is Jeremy her owner, or a dog we haven't seen yet?

Also, I love looking at my old stuff and going "hey, I haven't changed at all" :wag:

Hey, you may not be entirely happy with the artwork Octan, but personally I think these are my favorites of all the strips you've shown us. I'm really interested on seeing where this project takes you.
