I finally got a drawing going...

well a somewhat sucessfull drawing rather than a doodle. Its still a bit unfinished, ill get back to that later. But i just felt like showing the preliminary drawing.

Hope you folks think its not too silly...was sort of a spur of the moment kinda thing.

Seriously that was not my intent, but Millie being millie she will always be cute. I like taking shortcuts when I draw and maybe I drew something wrong...but I try. If she came out *sexy* looking...eh...im not going to complain.

Sue me..I like cute. And yes I have seen the Sonic style and I like it and try and to emulate it.

I don't have a problem with emulating sonic style, heck i emulate DCS's style in my drawings.

just add a white spot in the upper corner of the eye opposite of the light source.

hmmm is this method..... right?

here:

Mark where you want your whitespot in your head (yes thats right HEAD aka brain)and before you shade your pupils you're 100% thats the right location and then shade your pupils BUT dont shade the position where you want your white spot.

right? or my method is wrong? xD

Ok..Ill have to fix that then. Always learned that you draw the form first..then clothe it.

Cris...thats exactly how you do it. Leave the highlight area blank.

That's really good, but yes, Millie's clothes are way too tight. Unless you were purposely trying to add your own touch to Dana's style.
