Shouldn't we be more concerned about the fact that there's a beached whale?

Or is your character just floating in the water?

Come to think of it, are Orcas even whales? I think they are....

Anyways, nice job. As for the inking, I'd reccomend using some sort of ink that doesn't smudge when erased. If you want to try to do it on the computer, I'd reccomend creating a new layer in Photoshop and experimenting with the Pen tool and the Stroke Path command.

Yes Orcas are whales, at least I think they are as well.

From what I remember of Biology, they are Cetaceans, Orcas happen to be a very large species of Dolphin. I think Sea World in Orlando has the Worlds largest trained Orca,..Hes something like over 35 feet long and weighs around 10,000 lbs.

And to understand why my character is snoozing on the shoreline, well its what he does in the comic im trying to create. I sort of patterned him off myself in some ways.

Oh..and thank you everyone for the kind words, I will try to draw more in the future...but life seems to be getting in the way, and its hard to find inspiration at times.

Take care all.

Well I know I'm a bit late in this thread, but it caught my interest. I desided to take on the chalenge, and since I tend to favor Mr. Larnblatt, in male characters, I went with a Zebra. I gave him my typical garb, save for the gold shoulders on his duster, and I do at times wear glasses, though I might take those off him in the future cause I'm starting in the Navy and they say I don't need glasses, but anyhoo, here...uh...me, is.

Thanks actually, they were supposed to be OM plushies, but I did it without my glasses, at night and looking at it at an odd angle, so for now they'll be flowers.

*giggles* hey, relying on my eyesight with my glasses on this moniter isn't the best of ideas! they are whatever you intended them to be. I can't really see anything on this right now anyway!

The mane really stands out nicely there, Tim. And I agree with Zaaphod; the plushies are a nice touch.
