You can't really control what happens to your threads at DC. You may have started the thread, and the thread may be solely about you and your artwork, but you're going to get off-topic posts no matter what. Don't let it offend you.I glad that my grammatical errors could be of some what amusing to you all. All though the Fritz comment was a bit vulgar and uneeded.
Also, *unneeded.

Well, there's no questionable word choice this time. A little sparse with the commas, but we can ignore that.
Nilla wafers... or video games?

"Or else, would I use it?" sounds grammatically peculiar to me, but then everything is starting to now. Aaaaaagh.Personally I like the flow of "Or else would I use it?"
I believe this is grammatically and syntactically correct, in that it's continuing the previous state ment in a way.
(Also, guys, please try to be civil in this thread at least.)

Now that you all have seen some sample comics I want to ask for your opinions. I really want people to like this comic so please contact me and send me your comments on improving the comic either art wise or writing wise. Some things I like to point out are when I actually start the comic, I'll be writing my scripts on Microsoft Word to check for any errors. I have no intention of changing the name and I not going in a completly diffrent style of what it is right now. I am however still trying to make it more distinguish with out changing the whole look completly.

as far as style, don't worry about it. Most artists' webcomics look like total crap when they start out, and yours is a LOT neater than others. Your style will naturally take on its own personality and mature, much like all the other heavily OM-influenced artists I've seen here (Chris, Rooster, et al), even if it takes a while.

I would say, however, that you might want to try a smaller comic size. Keep in mind that most websites should render properly on 800px width resolutions. Making a smaller strip wouldn't be hard to do if you just either drew smaller, or drew thicker lines and resized and touched up your art on the computer.
But also remember that you're on the internet, not syndicated newspaper, so you can go crazy with the size/shape of your strip

I went from this in 2000

to this as of now

I didn't settle with sticking to the apron of my idols and neither should you. Trust me art can be a mentally painful trek when you finally fly away to discovery what you are and where you belong and how you view everything. The best part about art is you will never be satisfied with how you draw...this weeks pride is next weeks garbage. There will be bar forever just out of reach like a carrot on a stick and thats what makes us better. Its not school, *cough* Art Colleges are a joke *cough* its our own personal drive that makes us better.
Now after sounding all cool and shit...I'm your average lazy ass artist that wonders if he'd get any better if he actually practiced for more than half a year = 0

so there's a high school football coach sittin on the couch,
with a toothpick in his mouth.
and the stray dog won't forget the day,
he tricked him with a chocolate shake. (little trick)
