I think DCS is ending O&M in the wrong way.

He can either do it fast or do it slow. My guess is either the end of the wedding or a short epilogue would be the last strip.
Get out of my mind, idea! I already have an idea in there!

How would you end it? Fire and ruin?

As entertaining as that would be, that's not it. I think it should feel like the story doesn't end with the final strip, and it should leave a few things open for interpretation.

I guess all i can say is DCS deserves to end the series the way he sees fit, it is his strip after all.

...'course,...im still sad to see it end.

oh well...life goes on.

I want it to be almost completely open to interpretation.

Well it would seem a transition period is being reached. These can be places where such comics are usually ended. I wouldn't see this as a next to last strip but then again, I'm not the writer. As for this strip, there's something Ms. S and Millie can agree upon. Having Millie as a student was never boring. I'm think Ms. S will miss that deep down.

Who's to say that won't happen?

Meanwhile, I'm concentrating on the current strip. The teacharoo has softened my resentment left over from her last appearance. Now I can see her more as just another longsuffering supervisor along the lines of Miss Wormwood.

Then there's the unfinished sentence. I considered opening a poll to ask what everyone thinks Millie ate, but there are too many possibilities. We'll just have to let our imaginations run feral.

My thoughts exactly, considering how much respect Miss Sorkowitz lost with many of us here after her stubborn refusal to pardon Millie for socking Jeremy in self-defence and getting punished for it.
