Pfft. What she should do is put existing letters to better use. Why does 'through' have 7 letters when it has only 3 sounds (th, r and u)?

I don't know bout Michaelangelo but you sure are a piece of work Millie. I have to say I see some validity in her redundant letter cause. Course that be the procrastinator in me talking I guess. Yeah procrastination!!! Why do today what one can do tomorrow...or the next day...or the next day....or the next day...or the next day...etc.

This is what I like about transliterations and artificial languages: Their writing makes sense. In Indonesian, for instance, the C is used for the "ch" sound, leaving the K and S for other purposes and rendering the diphthong unnecessary. Of course, for those who never used the system, it can be quite a learning curve. How would you think to pronounce the name Cao Xueqin?

I'm glad the punchline of this strip doesn't exactly have to do with letters but points out the triviality of the cause. "The Family Circus" once had one of the kids complain that W wasn't "double-V." Man, if I hadn't already thought that TFC stank...

All the other letters can go. Except for G. That letter must stay. :)
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.
