I've gotta say, the "dry mud" look on Ozy yesterday and today is much more convincing than the "wet mud" look from the first few strips in this series.

Great pun in any case.

Millie in that second panel does look awkward. Maybe it's just that we rarely, if ever, see the characters in that pose.

Heh, I think its safe to say that *anyone* who's hopping on one foot, while swinging their arms like a maniac and falling over backwards into a puddle of mud is gonna look awkward. :-P

what I don't get is why she hated falling in the mud, I guess it's either because of irony or the failure of the windmill teqnique. But she would of been totaly okay running through puddle naked
Babies have big heads and big eyes, and tiny little bodies with tiny little arms and legs. So did the aliens at Roswell! I rest my case.

Well, if she's naked, at least she isn't getting mud on her clothes Image

A puddle isn't neccasarily muddy, not to mention there is the fun of being naked outside.

Plus, if she's just naked, she can clean her fur off at school, but her clothes are harder to clean. Plus, I think she's mostly embarassed at falling down in the first place. Ozy's fur is fine, since that will dry, but clothes take a long time to dry, and it would suck to be sitting at a desk with wet, muddy clothes on.

Who else remembers what happened last time Millie tried to clean her clothes at school?

I do! That was one of the best moments in the strip's history.

What, did Jeremy wreck them or something? Felicia might do something like that too, in an attempt to make them more 'fashionable.'

If you backtrack a bit, it was indeed Jeremy's fault that the overalls got stained, even if that wasn't what he had in mind.
