I'm sure that's happened to us at one time or another...

Happens to me all the time.

Especially when I've tried to take notes in class.

Shhh. I'm busy wishing that I was a space ninja. Not a fairy though.

Space garlic is everyone's problem.

The pony doll wearing a dress, the heart stencils in the headboard, and the fairy princess aspect put together show more of Millie's "girly" side than usual. But that is counterbalanced pretty well by the ninja and space aspects. (Using both "astronaut" and "space" among the descriptors seems redundant, but it does enhance the sense of mania.)

Space garlic. An important deterrent to space vampires. Who probably live on the dark side of Mercury to avoid the sun.

At least there are no space vampires, but there are space fishermen. :-P

With the large Sundays, I felt that Calvin and Hobbes kicked into high gear. The large format not only encouraged new ways of presenting ideas, it forced me to push the drawings, to make Calvin's world as bold and energetic as I could. I felt the strip finally looked the way it did in my head.
I think we're getting the same thing here with the new large dailies... like O&M has pulled out all the stops, and is blasting us with AWESOMENESS.

She has quite the imagination doesn't she? Millie seems to have aspirations of what she wants to do for her future. Although being a ninja or a princess may be a little far fetched.. unless she tries out for Ninja Warrior on G4TV when shes older

Heh, to be honest, when I first saw "Introspective", I was thinking navel gazing. Then I realize that'd be more trouble that it'd be worth, with fur. :-P

Saw it coming after the second panel, but funny nonetheless.

Wonder why I had to force-refresh the page before the new comic showed up =/

I hate to admit it, but it took me a minute to get this strip. I was saying to myself, "Okay, and what's the second thing? Space fish? Ninj-- OHHHHH!"
