I've more or less already agreed on what Millie's thinking about. There's no such thing as good or bad outside of what we choose make of it.
Also: Mmmm... big font.

She isn't the first person to be thinking about things such as this

I love having conversations about these kinds of things. Things can get pretty freaky when you're up at 4am talking about higher planes of existance. A friend of mine and I... felt some pretty weird things... Like all the kinds of supernatural stuff you hear about.

Closest thing I get to that is Deja Vu.
I can dream something happens (usually it's miniscule, like me playing a game, or me crossing my legs when watching TV) and the same exact thing that i dreamed happens sometime in the future, and I stop and think to myself "Wtf, this has happened before..."
It hasn't happened recently though, as far as I can remember.
Best example was walking in a mall and seeing certain people (that i didn't know) but I remembered them from the dream. Hmm, rather odd.

I often wonder if Déjà Vu isn't just an impulsive memory loop that occurs exactly when you feel it, making you believe something has happened before. Then again it can reoccur, or maybe you just think it has?!?
BLARG!
Erm nice strip, the classic 3 panel development and 1 panel punch line is working well.

Eh, I don't think it'd be all that cool really. I'd like to think there's some form of right and wrong/ justice in the universe.
Instant karma's gonna get you.

Also, just a quick question that was running through my mind. If there is no good or bad outside of what we make it, then if someone genuinely thought, for example, murdering someone was right for them, would that make it right? If there is no right or wrong, whats the point of laws, then? There'd be chaos everywhere.
(sorry if this comes across as being a tad bit too political. its just a thought. DONT SUE ME!!

We've grown mental states where we have views on what's "right" and what's "wrong"
say you raise a child in a room with television screens all flashing that killing is good. When it grows up, the only thing it knows how to do that's "good" is to kill people.
or am I wrong?

If they think murder is right, it makes it right to them. What we think of it is another matter, and I can't really say what we 'should' think. All I can offer is my own view on the matter.
I'm a strong proponent of what's called 'moral relativism'. It means that moral values of good and bad are just personal opinions and feelings. To me, 'that's bad' and 'I think that's bad' mean the same. There's no such things as absolute good or bad, they're just constructs to explain opinions and feelings about things.

a good example is music.
"That music sucks"
"I think it's good"
etc.

That's not really right/wrong though, that's more taste and opinion.

Remember, it's been said that a child's personality is completely defined by age 4. I'd have to say that what they're told is right in their early years is what they grow up believing.
