"Taxation Without Representation"- The general main reason behind the American Revolution against the British Empire.

:ontopic:
Loved the comic. :3
I rather like Ms. Mudd's face in the 2nd panel.

She and Llewellyn must have a pretty good relationship. How often does someone from another house come up to you while you're at your computer and ask about your taxes? Think about it.

I wonder what the tax system in Greater Llewellynlland is like. I bet it has something to do with guacamole though.

Now I realize why D.C. has stepped up its push for representation lately: Tax Day.

Given that the only permanent residents are the President and his son, I wonder if they bother.

I'm actually, honestly, more curious to see what tax bracket small businesses fall into, now. See some actual numbers, etc.

Don't they still partially rely on water and electricity from the United States?

Well, they do have an interdimensional portal within their territory. I'm sure they'd be able to transport resources from there to their house.

I might be imagining it, but the perspective seems a bit off in the first panel. That or the computer is tilted forward or something. Dunno.

Good strip though, as far as the joke.

Hah. The funny thing is, I actually got the joke in that. Take that for humor. XD

Water, maybe. Electricity? Nope: they get their power from a giant potato.
