My first thought was that the image without the text would make a good standalone picture. My second thought was that it reminded me of this picture.

My third thought is that Simpson is really milking the toxic waste thing and doing a great job of it. :wag:

What millie said in the second panel is true, It's fun to explore and find stuff unexpectedly instead of using a silly map :-P

And that second panel is way awesome! :wag:

oh yeah....why dr.doog doesn't update his EJE list in his sig ? :(

Personally, though, I wouldn't toss the map (I'd probably just stuff it in a pocket), because sometimes there's a place I want to go back to, and I don't want to spend two and a half hours just to find it again.

And Chris, I don't think that counts as an EJE. It's just one eye.

On the other hand, Doog might not be keeping track of those things anymore, but that's for him to say.

this is gonna be good...
Millie's way of exploring a museum is the best. Maps never lead you to the security room where they have all the camera monitors and stuff like that....

Living in the District of Columbia, I've visited museums many times. Not once did I use, or want, a map. A rare case of me agreeing with Millie without qualification.

I used one at Six Flags once, but it was grossly inaccurate. Or just confusing.

Is it me or does Millie looks somewhat strange in panel 2? It's like her body is squashed or something.

I think in panel 2 Millie looks somewhat posed as a roman emperor  :P

I thought the whole strip looked kinda weird, like it was a guest strip. In panel 1, I thought both Millie and Ozy look shorter than usual.

They've just seemed shorter in general to me lately. Feels like D.C.'s style is changing slightly again. Hoorah for artistic advancement!

I'd agree on principle with the "no map" policy, but living in Paris, the Louvre is the first museum coming to my mind. It would take weeks to fully explore and I dare anyone to visit it without a map and without getting lost.
