Well, if I ever come to think of a very high (But not stupendously high) number, the one which always springs to mind for some reason is 38 million.

I'm with NHJ on this one! why not 700?

The number acceptable would be the one the author finds relevant/funny/random/whatever. Interpretors will of course have their own idea of which sounds better. But as Mr. Simpson said he just thought 700 was a funny number, nothing else.

I usually use 80 million, which is weird since I hate the number 8. Don't ask why, I just do for some reason.

Well, any suitably large amount is comical in that situation, as (assuming she ate it all, as we have nothing to tell us otherwise) it is virtually impossible for her to have consumed $700 of ice-cream, unless it was really, really expensive ice-cream!

You know it tastes better if it's really expensive, especially if you didn't pay for it!<br><br>And I'd have to say that a tangible number just simply fits better than a million-jillion.

Well of course, because it remains _vaguely_ possible.<br>And we all know how much $700 is, i mean, you can visualise what can be had with $700, and a hugely large amount in the millions/billions you can't quite visualise just how much of anything that would buy. Well, I speak for myself.

I just had Ice cream, I couldent even finish the bowl.
