Am I crazy since I knew EXACTLY what Millie was talking about? That's how my mind works as well. However, I do pitty her in trying to repeat it.

David should be ashamed about using the A word so abundantly.

I know what Millie is talking about.
Ever since I was a kid I would hold off on opining my gifts. Because I knew once I did it would be over.

Millie reminds me of that moment in
The Rocky Horror Picture Show. You know: "Anticip-- (long silence) --pation."
David should be ashamed about using the A word so abundantly.
What is it about the A words? My eighth-grade science teacher used "actually" too often, Lynn Johnston uses "amazing" and "awesome" too often....

Actually, I kept thinking of that, especally when I was lettering panel 2 and I had to hyphenate the word in exactly that spot.

Eeep, an Ozy and Mille spoof of The Rocky Horror Picture Show would be... insane. D:

I don't know if anyone else caught this, but Millie's sounding a lot like Llewellyn there, that's the kind of reply I'd expect if I asked him what his thoughts on the coming of Christmas was.

You're right, though I imagine Llewellyn would say it in a slightly different tone than Millie.

I can imagine Llewellyn telling a story of how santa ISN'T real because he accidentally set fire to him, and in a dragon conspiracy had to get a replacement. Like paul mcartney.

I think he'd say something less sensible, more zen, or both.
