Since it's not in the archives yet I can't link to it. I'm assuming this is why Chris hotlinked the image.

Much sympathy with Millie here. I miss the days where it was okay for me to want actual TOYS for Christmas. Now it's all Expensive practical things.

I just ask for a different type of toys. For example, I got an archival quality sketch diary last christmas.

Stupid fascination with electronics.
For the last several years I've wanted to just tell my parents to get me whatever they think I'd like. I keep chickening out though.

I guess a new hard drive can be considered a toy

Didn't we ALL want that Death Laser toy at some point in our lives?

Huh? You're what, 16? I'm turning 21 in a few weeks and everything I'm asking for is either a video game or computer related.

Yeah Sidious always gave out the best gifts. Death Stars, Sun Crushers... 'cept the Clone Army... cause it was a Trojan Horse and all.

My folks ask for books and music. Not exactly toys, but not strictly "practical" either.
Oh, and my dad always asks for a Miata. That could be practical or a toy.

I am in my 30s. What do
I ask for?
There is only one thing I want, and it is impossible for me to have.

My Christmas gifts are usually made up of DVDs, video games, or art supplies.....I consider those toys of a different color
I agree with Millie. While a spatula is pretty intimidating (

), you just can't match the fear inducing power of a death laser.....though if you're more interesting in making pancakes...

All I want is books and music.
Maybe if Millie lived in the 80's Reagan's space ray gun idea would have appealed to her.
