Someone on the old O&M mailing list once warned that a depiction of Millie as a babby would create enough "cutons" for an explosion. I knew it was only a matter of time before DCS would decide to test that theory. Perhaps it's just as well that she's doing it now and not four years ago, when I was less jaded to Millie's appearance.
Personally, I liked newborn Ozy a little better. He didn't look as strange without "hair," and he was meditating rather than scheming. But oh, those tiny paws...
On each of these occasions, I was briefly bothered by the surreal intelligence of these babies. Then I remembered the prevalence of surreally intelligent children, including babies, in the comics in general.
Hey, Ms. Mudd, could we have a turn at bottle-feeding Millie or rocking her to sleep?
