<a href='

As my avatar will testify, we're all ADD-afflicted people here, and are easily distracted (as is DCS, apparently). It seems like there are times when DCS forgets what story he's telling, but I like that about him. If he just advanced the plot with every strip, we'd lose out on all the great distractions. Plus, it's true to life. Whevener you're out on some quest to find something, odds are you get distracted fairly quickly, and it's these diatractions where all the funny stuff happens. Plus, it kinda serves for character development, too.

Agreed. If the story arcs stayed in a strait line and didn't make pitstops celebrating Millie's ADD, then it'd get kinda' dull.

Ahh, but the thing that makes this distraction special is that observation Simpson made about this strip. It was made solely because having Millie do that flashlight thing was an opportunity he would not get again for a very long time and therefore could not afford to miss. How many times have any of us seized the opprotunity because of the phrase, "I always wanted to do that." Millie is good about finding and doing all those things we wish we had the opportunity to do, like being the first robbin' of spring, running a summer resort in your neighbor's house, or giving your best friend a bad haircut for five bucks. Umm.. maybe not that last one, but you don't get that opportunity very often.

...I don't have ADD...<br><br>...Millie looks cool there. and there was another thread for the "character voices", but i just thought it would be hilarious if captain locke had a grown-up voice. then he could freak people out even easier <!--emo&:P--><img src='

You should put Llewellyn and Locke in there as well.
