One (such as myself) might wonder why so many dragons in Llewellyn's family are complete nutballs.

Not necessarily in a bad way, though :-P

It probably runs ni the family for thousands of years, hehe. *Files under Conventionally Unconventional Dating 101*

Saying that Llew's family is weird is like saying, Why can we see the air? It's just supposed to be like that!

We can see the air? We're supposed to be able to see the air?

I was inspired to use this saying in conversation this evening. I'm sure I either sounded really deep or really stupid.

Either way, great strip!

I always wonder if cartoonists ever have a clue what the food on their characters' plates is supposed to be. Very often it just resembles mounds of random gloop.

But then, I'm one to talk, aren't I.

Llewellyn is now creating his own Yogi-isms..

It looks like they are eating chocolate pudding for dinner...

I hope you mean pudding.

It's true, Octan, that cartoonists often have a dim view of the appearance of food on a plate. In the case of C&H, it was fully intentional.

In college, I learned that many Buddhist writers talk about food like it's only slightly more pleasant than excrement. I don't suppose they've had an influence on DCS that way.
