Once again, DCS applies what I call the Ratbert Principle to Timulty. In Seven Years of Highly Defective People, Scott Adams said (not necessarily verbatim), "It's easy to write the script for Ratbert because he's so cute that everything he says is funny." Just try today's punchline with a not-so-cute character.

With anybody else the line would seem sarcastic, I think.

Four to five years. I could see him catching up a bit, but this is a little much.
