Looks like this 'agreement' is about as far it'll go for now. Ah well, Felicia is still Felicia...

I think that's a minor timing error on DCS' part. She's probably got her reasons though.

Wait... Felicia goes to summer school?
In the UK compulsary education establishments don't get out until... Oh... Next week or the week after. Then go back early September.

I seriously have never got how American kids survive 2-3 month summer vacations. Six weeks I was bored out of my skull back when I was a kid.

Here in the Netherlands I'm pretty sure in some regions the summer vacation hasn't begun yet. I'll be done with this year of university next week, myself.

A bit of searching reveals that over here, summer vacation for elementary schools in the south starts July 1st, middle part of the country July 8th and northern part July 22nd.

Well, camps and trips help pass the time, but you're right: we do seem to give kids too much of what they request with regard to summer vacation.

That's funny, I recall being bored out of my skull after six weeks of SCHOOL...

Summer Vacation can never be too long. I mean, two and a half months of straight internet is not enough for me, is it for you?

Given that for the past year I've been in classes for... Oh... 8 hours a week was the longest, it was 5 for most of it, I decline comment.
