I'm not the physically violent type of person, and yes I have been physically ragged on. I've also run into situations like this strip presents, but it wasn't homework related. Heres two completely separate stories from the same year, 8th grade<br><br>First, Joey Vega was one of the 'tough' guys in school. To give a visual description, he was about 40 lbs heavier than i was with muscle, and was about 8 inches taller than me. and since I was not, i was a target for verbal abuse from him. One day, for whatever reason during lunch period I had to go to my locker. He happened to have (yet another) lunch detention that day. I had never seen him in lunch detention(mainly because i reallly nevr got any...exept for missing homework <!--emo&--><img src='
http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' /><!--endemo--> !) but knew he got them all the time. When i saw him in the room, i saw something i didn't not expect... he was in the room cleaning the bookshelves... crying! there, the bully that had harrased me for months, crying! When he looked up and saw me through the door, there was this look of 'holy sweet merciful crud!', and at that point i realized I had thre options in front of me. 1) walk away and keep it to myself. 2) make fun of him, and thus boosting my "popularity". 3) the one i chose, I went in and asked the teacher if it would be alright if i helped him clean the shelves. She said that was fine, so I did. There was some small talk exchanged, but nothing really beyond the basics. At the end of the lunch period, he looked at me and said "thanks." After that point, he never bothered me. Granted, he didn't stop others from making fun, but since he was origionally a ring-leader of the bunch, his silence meant a lot as well.<br><br>Second story, with a slightly different ending than the first. Another antagonizer was A. J. Sanchez. He was actually shorter than me, and probably weighed less too! Now, this kid on two occasions tried to buy some of my ritalyn(god, I hate that stuff!). He also made fun of me every chance he got. This lasted through the whole year, every day. Now, i didn't really ever let him get to me, however there was one incedent that I, he, and the rest of that class will probably never forget! One day, I had to use the restrooms while in english class. I went and did my thing, and started washing my hands when guess who comes through the door! He comes in with the sole purpose of making fun of me. At that point, my parrents had been separated and devorced two years prior, and he had only come to the school that year. Well, he decides to bring it up any way, and he see's that he isn't getting through. He sais several things, and then makes this statement:<br><!--QuoteBegin- A.J. the small+--> <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' ><tr><td class='quotetop'><b>Quote:</b> ( A.J. the small)</td></tr><tr><td class='quotebody'> "You know, i bet your the cause for your parrents divorce, you suck so much! such a nerd!"<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table> <!--QuoteEEnd--><br>Ever seen "A Christmas Story" with Ralphie? that one line right before the fight scene describes it perfectly. <br><!--QuoteBegin--> <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' ><tr><td class='quotetop'><b>Quote:</b> </td></tr><tr><td class='quotebody'> and in the back of my head, i felt this litte flame starting to grow...<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table> <!--QuoteEEnd--><br>I gave him a chance to take it back, he didn't and continued<br><!--QuoteBegin--> <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' ><tr><td class='quotetop'><b>Quote:</b> </td></tr><tr><td class='quotebody'> "flickering, burning... " "then, something just snapped!"<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table> <!--QuoteEEnd--><br>Now, i didn't go as all out as ralphie did, but i did hit A.J. a couple times hard enough to leave him lieing on the ground. No one, and I mean no one could get away with saying that! That was the one thing that really made me snap. He did bother me a couple times after that, but not for several weeks! he did end up almost getting expelled for giving me a bloody nose on the bus as we were about to leave from 8th grade retreat. That got him banned from the class trip to Hershy Park! <br><br>(wooh! long post!)<br><br>Those are the two biggest expieriences that have changed the way I was bullied. Thankfully, as time went on and people matured (and I was taken off ADD medication!) things changed. <a href='

Bullies seem to back off when they think what their doing is either stupid, wrong, or unbenificial. Any way it stops though, it stops eventually. I think I'll end on that... i've ranted enough here!
