To anyone who has to look at it, maybe. (As Colin Baker has on at least one occasion said of his costume while playing The Doctor in Doctor Who - "The good thing about my costume was that I was the only one who didn't have to look at it.")

It's interesting that the people know that they were brainwashed. The guy at the adoption place when Llewellyn adopted Ozy was aware of it too.
