Pie! Would Llewellyn be speaking in Iambic Pietameter here?<br><br>And while it may be a mistake to say that most of the world's problems can be solved solely with potatoes, I imagine quite few things could be solved with pie. <!--emo&:P--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I've got a new idea about the aid package: maybe it contains one of those pies-on-a-spring, so that when you open it it springs in your face. The ambassador looked annoyed enough to do that <!--emo&:P--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It's probably a bad time to ask, but what in the hell is an Iambic Pentameter? <!--emo&:blink:--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

An iamb is a set of two syllables, the latter of which is accented. Pentameter means five accented syllables to a line. In its strict form, iambic pentameter has five iambs to a line, a popular example being, "Is this the face that launched a thousand ships?"
