I don't pretent to understand political economics, but I believe it's much the same way that someone can be earning £20k a year and have debts of £30k outstanding, and consider themselves to be well-to-do.<br><br>Let me correct myself. Yeah, I think that's correct. Also, a large part of the US debt is owned by Americans, so the money does stay in the country. China's share is overrated.<br><br>The US trade balance deficit is more worrying, I think.

He was also the secretary of defense during Gerald Ford's administration. Also, has been the youngest secretary of defense and is now the oldest secretary of defense. 13th Secretary Of Defense under Ford and 21th Secretary Of Defense under George W. Bush. I like to watch Jeopardy!

I now recall a sketch from the TV show "Roundhouse" in which they advertise the Prez dispenser. Not of candy, but of hot air.
