I'm impressed. He probably was helped. Or maybe it was a one piece puzzle?

So what is Llewellyn so busy with? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I would be both shocked, amused, confused, and incorrect for stating more than two emotions when I clearly said both, if this was based on a real life event.

This has to be the least polite I've ever seen Llewellyn. I know that he enjoys his power as President(?) of Greater Llewellynland, being able to call John Ashcroft by his first name while insisting on a pompous title for himself, but this time is all the less diplomatic. Of course, if anyone can push Llewellyn over the edge into rudeness, Dubya can.

Well, Llewellyn would probably have to hold for a few minutes before George II started talking, so W is being pretty rude also. And no human being likes to be put on hold.

I don't think just saying "no" is really rude. But then the context here might make it so.<br><br>Maybe country leaders get special priviledges that they use in secret.<br><br>Bush - Tony, will you help me if I declare war on Cuba, Venezuella and Bolivia?<br>Blair - No. But here, I bought you Age of Empires III, now you can rule the whole world!

I wonder if this international incident will lead to the annexation of Greater Llewellynland. After all, it will probably help W's approval ratings <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It also depends on the tone of voice he used. It could have been a quiet, noncommittal "No" or a rude, impatient "NO!!!!"

Eh, more like counter-rudeness, I thought. Dubya, or at least his secretary, was rude in the first place for thinking that Llewellyn had nothing better to do...<br><br> Llew can be cutting, though - <a href='http://www.ozyandmillie.net/1999/om19990316.html' target='_blank'>here,</a> and <a href='http://www.ozyandmillie.net/1999/om19990505.html' target='_blank'>here</a>, for starters.<br><br>EDIT: And <a href='http://www.ozyandmillie.net/1999/om19990806.html' target='_blank'>here <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--></a>

This signature may spontaneously combust at any given moment. Make sure there's a fresh can of gasoline handy.
