I'm guessing that "What is nose putty?" is a question perhaps best left unanswered. Kind of like "What does it feel like to jump off the Space Needle?"*<br><br><span style='font-size:6pt;line-height:100%'>*The answer, sadly, is "mostly squishy". Perhaps that's how nose putty's made. Hmmm...</span>

Nose putty, I'm guessing, is another fun slang term for snot. I know I've heard the phrase mentioned in this strip before, but I don't remember where.
