Millies eyes are sprilaly themselvs. That usualy only hapens n thsoe beignhypnotized. MY guess is that Mr. Llewellyn hypnotized Millie into hypnitizign us nto to pay atetnion to the lack of a new strip.

She might have accidentally hypnotized herself. Its a common cartoon thing.
