We may have seen it coming but Millie's reaction was priceless.

"Make her sprout into a vegetable"? Now that's unusual, not to mention random, punishment. ("Frank, isn't that a little unusual?" "Not really; it happened to me a few times.")

I just realized a slight parallel with the end of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I wonder if that was conscious on DCS's part.

Maybe, maybe not, but I think 9 out of 10 Rabbits agree that this is a sweet strip
This signature may spontaneously combust at any given moment. Make sure there's a fresh can of gasoline handy.

Awww... I wanted to see a druged up fox . Though seeing her turn into a vegable would be fun to see . Steps before a fox becomes a vegable:

1. Fur turns green.
2. Fur begins to have a leaflike consistency.
3. An tufts of fur become large leaves.
4. Rest of fur becomes small little tiny leaves.
5. The fox begins to react to sunlight producing food through photosynthesis.
6. Eyes have a vacant look and whole eye tunrs various shades of green.
5. the foxe's feet grow roots and are embedded into the ground.
6. Dun dun dun!

This vegetable fox is also known as Vegetatius Greenishfoxius.

Steps before turning into a tuber:

*1. Fur becomes a brownish color.
2. Little dents begin to form in the fur. The fur starts to take on a leathery consistency.
3. Fur on the head becomes leafy leaves.
4. Urge to hide from sunlight increases. The fox will try to find warm, damp, shady spots.
5. Eyes become vacant and become various shades of brown.
6. The fox commences to dig a hole big enough so that it can fit in while shallow enough to have the leaves stick out of the soil.
7. Jumps into the hole.
8. fox becomes afull fledged fox shaped tuber. Also known as a foxdrake.
*Fur may turn orange rather than brown.

This tuber is known as a Foxius Tuberias

There is a way to reverse and stop this horrible transformation. You must do this BEFORE their eyes become vacant! Collect four purple mushrooms with black spots (scientific name Blackishspotius Mushroomyish) and a mandrake. Crush both together and feed it to the fox. It should return back to normal within a week.

(I give this comic a 9/10 )

You really thought that through, didn't you.

It's been a while since Millie's mom called her "Sprout." That always struck me as rather cute.

That always struck me as rather cute.

It always struck me as showing Ms. Mudd's age. I can't hear that without thinking of someone established firmly in middle age or later. Maybe that's because the only other character I've heard it from is Grandpa from "Rugrats." Or was that "scout"?

Now that I think about it, "Make her sprout into a vegetable" is a questionable grammar structure. Isn't "sprout" analagous to "be born"?

Of the two possibilities that Caoimhin presented, the tuber is more credible, such as it were. There are already brown and orange foxes, and wild ones are known to burrow.

I love this strip! Not just because it's funny, but also because Finland makes me think of Nightwish. <3 <3 <3
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Aw, damn. I was hoping it'd be real. Plenty of stranger things have happened in the mysterious realm of O&M.
There are some right tits on this world; sadly, the majority are not accompanied by left ones.
Success is nothing to do with hard work, it's all about luck. Just ask any failiure.
