Despite his pacifism, Ozy would be no more at home in the hippie era than now. The motto then was, "If it feels good, do it." Ozy keeps doing things he hates, which I think makes him almost as nonsensical, albeit not as random, as Millie. Is he afraid she'll do something worse to him if he doesn't write 200 pages, even without actually defending her? If so, I have to wonder how long he'll consider the "friendship" worthwhile. Even if his only alternatives are Avery and Stephan.

If they really bothered him he would presumably ask her to stop.<br><br>But I think that Ozy writing and printing two hundred pages of "Help! Millie is making me write 200 pages of drivel" is more fundamentally Ozy then anything else he could have written. Example: "All work and no play makes Ozy type in the third person!"
