Definitely would have been a good strip though. It also seems to be the closest David ever came to mentioning SUVs in "Ozy and Millie." Honestly, I don't think cartoonists make enough of a fuss about those awful road tanks.

There is nothing wrong with owning a Land Rover! However, I saw a Cadilac Escalade today, and I have to agree with the whole road tank thing. I'm still wondering where they got it. Land Rovers are fine to own. Assuming you're going to be doing any off roading (yes, that includes expecting a foot of snow falling every night in February)<br><br>Saying that, that would be 'off-roaders only' in the UK. now wouldn't it?<br><br>And yeah, general agreeance with previous posts. Funny strip. Horrid concept of rerealised timeline.

i recall reading in our newspaper that some commerical planes get more miles per gallon than SUVs.
