Now this is one of the most funniest O&M strips I've seen yet. Very creative here. Glad to see that there's other uses for staplers other than trying to stick them in your arm.

Back on topic... What bugs me about this comic is that if Millie had simply asked for a pencil Ms. Sorkowitz would probably have given it to her. EVEN MORE WEIRD-KID DISCRIMINATION!!!! AAGH! STUPID TEACHERS, WHEN WILL THEY LEARN TOLERANCE FOR THE WEIRD KIDS?! Well, I did sorta ask for Mr. Simpson to preach more truth to us =p Or maybe the comic's not saying that at all... if it is, it appears I am the first to see it like this. Ozy's comment was funny though.

I know you have this running gag of pretending to be a ninja, but...you really are Japanese, aren't you? I thought English might not be your first language, after seeing some of your posts, but I want to make sure I know, for future reference. Assuming the answer is yes, I will now explain. Tacking "phobia" on the end of a word means "fear of," so her hyphenated phrase means an irrational fear of writing with pencils and pens...and other things you normally write with. So the teacher, pretending to humor her, gives her a stapler to write with instead. [seriousness] Do not try to guess or toy with my identity off-line, I'm very touchy and secretive about it. And I'm not ready to share it with anyone. not even you guys. Zaaphod's on thin ice with me after attempting (and failing) to guess where I live. Try to guess anything about me in RL and I'll just say no; right or wrong. just a warning. I 'm having a hard time wondering whether or not I took offense at that last post. Anyway, it just turns out I just didn't read the comic carefully enough, and was just so ready and willing to believe that Millie was being persecuted for being weird again, like the old strips. Had I actually read what Millie was actually saying, I would have gotten the point the first time. [/seriousness] I guess I'm beginning to tune her out as well. Last time I wrote in staples I pierced my finger. That was back in 5th grade. I've since mastered the art of not stapling myself.
