And so Ozy learns that sometimes the truth doesn't work. Simply because it doesn't make any sense when said outloud. What he should have done is summed it up with "Both my cousin and Millie are involved, and I'd rather not go into the details.". That would have convinced anyone 'steer clear for a few hours else be sucked into a black hole of wtfness'. Well, that or encourage them to go round.

Note: Seems that Ozy IS Immune to the mercury fumes. isolde was right <img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /> And I hope D.C. makes a sunday style comic with Isolde all shiny and silvery. And lastly... how about I ask you not to show Stephan's reaction even IF asked. Would that work?

That's not a wig. Isolde has hair! Dragons come in great variety. Although it seems David finally decided that it was 'hair' and not 'quills'. That was a topic of some speculation. Looks nice, doesn't she? He said he'd do a Sunday strip, but he might have changed his mind since then. Doesn't make much sense not to show her in color at least once, though. And Ozy DOES seem to be doing fine around the mercury. One might almost think he was a dragon himself. Oh, and as for what would happen if Stephan were there - she'd hit him with her tail, duh. Ozy doesn't count. They're engaged.

Not much to say, but I'm wondering why Avery would want Ozy to come over. Then again they have been good friends for some time, so I guess there's really no reason to think too hard about it. I think I would like to see more about Ozy's friendship ties to Avery or Stephan, such as what they would do together. I'd thought Ozy's engagement was called off ever since he delivered his clever rebuttal. However, Ozy and Isolde are still cousins, Ozy's been a pushover when it comes to assisting others so far in this conspiratorial plan, and he's inhaling mercury fumes. I think in this case he is far more qualified than anyone else to be there. EDIT: Oh, and I guess Avery is sensitive about getting brushed off by people, since that's usually associated with coolness. But Ozy has some of the most outlandish excuses, it's just totally funny when people have trouble believing him.
