To days strip is epic.
the mystery of Ozys biological father has oafishly bin reveled.
I wonder if we will see more of Mu-Man or not.
This strip will live in Infamy...

I'm kind of dissapointed on how it turned out. It would seem that the subject is closed, but without any kind of follow up the identity of Ozy's father is really nothing more then a trivia question now.
How many times do I have to say this? The "identity of Ozy's father" is Llewellyn. I do not consider the real-ness of adoptive parent-child relationships to be a trivial point. :? :!:
Whenever someone says "identity of Ozy's father" he means biological father so you can stop shitting your pants already.

FWIW, when I imagine myself as a father, I don't see myself having a preference between becoming one biologically and adopting.

Funny how, despite a week of speculation and discussion, it still came as a surprise to some people to find out who Mu-Nan was.

Yow! I come around after days of being obsessed with the Mother series from Nintendo, and I get hit with this. Well played, DC, well played. :D

On the subject of adoptive relationships, I wouldn't trivialize them one bit. I know that if I were adopted, sure, I'd be curious about my biological parents, but it wouldn't be something I would dwell on, because I'd never lose sight of who my real Mom and Dad were, the ones who raised me as their child, and that's the relationship that matters.
Anyone who takes anything I say seriously deserves what they get.

I already had the idea that Mu-Man had biological relations to Ozy. I did not think it would be put in the strip-or at least be reveled so soon...

Ok, to be sincere, I really wasn't expecting him to be Ozy's biological father. Though that hasn't been said directly, it's clearly implied that he is. I just wasn't expecting this to be revealed at all, I just imagined this would remain a mistery forever... and actually, I think I'd just prefer it like that. But well, it has already been done, so I'll wait to see how the rest of it will unfold (if there will be any unfolding at all)

Kinda saw this one coming, based on the foreshadowing of Millie's comments and Friday's strip in general.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Huh...

that was a bit anticlimatic.

Good comic... but it just fell a little short today, to be honest.

I guess I was just hoping for more.

:offtopic: Is it just me.
Or is the LAST major Ozy and Millie mystery. That of Mrs. Mudds first name.

Here we go again:

Mehitabel Mudd, mother of Millie.
That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it.

And my theory is that Ms Mudd's name is one of the Eight Spells of the Octavo which would destroy the world/turtle if ever uttered without its companions.
