The Expressionist and Dada movements and art tend to have much in common thematically with study of koans and actual Zen.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table> <!--QuoteEEnd--><br><br>This is essentially what "Zen" is in Ozy & Millie - clever nonsense, derived from existing Zen phrases. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table> <!--QuoteEEnd--><br>That is what an oxymoron truely is.<br><br>A TRUE oxymoron is quite accurate in one context, but once put out of that context is complete nonsense.<br><br>For instance of an Oxymoron, my statement of "Zen Arguementation" <br><br>I was using the Anctiant Greek form of "Arguementation" that Arguementation is to attempt persuadue someone to acknolege the validity of you're point, regardless of whether or not they consider you're conclusion from the point to be true.<br><br>The modern form of Arguementation, or the attempt to persuade another to you're opinion, is completely against Zen principal, especially when you add in the context of the common methods of informal debate used by many westerners, that usually break down to mud-slinging and insult yelling.<br><br>To create a Koan for this method, I would put it as follows:<br>One will find they're areguements more effective, when stating them without argueing.
