On the topic of chess, I witnessed a friend of mine beat two, yes two, people back-to-back with a 4-move checkmate each time today. You'd think that they'd notice the trap he was setting up. Or at least the 2nd person would learn from the 1st's mistakes, but the guy used the same 4 moves to beat both people. That's bad.

At least a couple days beforehand, the pony incident had occurred. Since Ozy said "This morning", it was clearly less than a couple days ago that the two played chess, which forces me to reason that the game was played after the start of Locke's attempted coup, but obviously before the battle currently playing out on this and maybe the previous strips. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table> <!--QuoteEEnd--><br>I think that the "Buy me a pony" happened a long time ago, obviously not too long ago because Locke hasn't "younged" (as opposed to aged) much. But it was never worth his while to "track Llewellyn to the end of his days", and/or/ he got sidetracked until the seccession of Greater Llewellynland.
LLEWELLYN: And surely you've noticed that a great deal of what I do is extremely strange.
