Secret Santas

My sixth-grade class had assigned gift exchange, but it wasn't secret, just randomly drawn from a basket. I was unfond of my recipient, but I had something decent to give without buying anything: <i>The Calvin and Hobbes Lazy Sunday Book</i>. (Much as I love C&H, I didn't care enough to supplement my stash with special collections, and the extra long strip in that one was relatively lame.) My Santa, who didn't know me well, nevertheless gave me two books that proved both entertaining and useful for later reports.
