This strip is actually good. May he be remembered for his greatness.

You know it's the morning when it takes you thirty seconds to realize that wasn't Simpson's style.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

While it's both funny and well drawn, the more realistic style feels odd somehow for O&M...

I agree. The characters are still fairly accurately drawn, however, given the (usual) huge differences between artists.

Oh and hello book cover

Hm, DCS isn't as worried about possible copyright difficulties as some cartoonists.

I like this as an alternate style, especially for Ozy. But is "twang" the right sound? And somehow Millie never looks right in a leotard, swimsuit, or similar gear.

Hrm . . . I can't quite place it, but Ben Yackley sounds familiar.

EDIT: It just hit me like a falling bulldozer: Ben Yackley helped with Dave's music. (On the keyboard, IIRC.) It would appear that he's an artist as well.

I love Ozy's expression in the last panel!

Ozy's expression in the last panel is very anime-esque. I like it.

Ben Yackley also wrote an internet cartoon called "Spellshocked" for a while, which has since changed its name and its site and probably other things but I stopped keeping up with it at that point.

I am not surprised in the least that he ended up being added to the guest cartoonist canon.

I think Millie would be awesome with the fencing.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Wow. I really like this style. It doesn't really suit the characters but that's probably just because I've been reading O+M for two years in it's current style.

If this guy has his own webcomic, I'd read it.

Here's where the original "Spellshocked" comics have been stashed. I seem to remember they used to have an actual website with a real click-thru interface but that was done away with for some reason.
