Huh, I am confused too. First off, who is percy? I've read the entire archives in like a month since I first found O&M but I have never heard of the name Percy.

And what is this about Lewellyn being given Ozy or being honorary or whatever? I thought he simply adopted Ozy.

Is there something in those books in the O&M store that I missed out on? Sorry if I stumbled across something that this whole board knows, I just joined and this is my first post.

What really gets me, though, is how Ozy's mother could possibly ascend, knowing that she left Ozy, her son, behind? Wouldnt her love for him have kept her there?

Well, Percy must be a relative since Ozymandius's mother is Shelley. My guess is that Percy could either be the father or a male (biological) relative, since Percy Bysshe Shelley wrote the poem "Ozymandias."

Of course that is all guesswork on my part, since I haven't done much more than simple search in the cartoon archive.

I doubt the ascension was voluntary, and I have no idea why some think that Llewellyn's adoption is a part of some Grand Plan.

The first question I can answer. There's no Percy. It was my guess for the name of Ozy's father, based on a rather easy-to-get recent reference.

Ah, I thought the poem's author had a role in the naming of Ozy's mother. I suspect Ozy's dad might in fact be named Percy if that is true.

Although whether she could've ascended knowing that her child would be left behind is debatable. But it really tugged at my heartstrings. Almost as much as that whole Locke and Ms. Mudd story.

I doubt the story was showed Shelley purposely abandoned Ozy.

It did get emotional when Ms. Mudd and Locke met again though.

Simple. The world is balancing itself. What is thought of as stupid (Animated shows) is becoming smart in response to what used to be thought of as smart until 4-5 years ago (the president) has become stupid.

Ba-Zing!

...it sounded better in my head than on the post, but if you get it, good for you.
