I wish I could verbalize punctuation.
I can sort of "push" it with telepathy, but that's not quite the same. I send vague impressions of the thought.

I like the fact that he still has his accent, too.

I like the calligraphied question mark. It makes me want to vote for him.
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

I wonder if the same effect of this weeks strip could be done without the word balloons or would people feel it'll loose the point of what the strip was about at the end?

And I am not criticizing Simpson's work, just pondering on the whole concept of saying something without saying it. Would the word balloons be necessary to do so?

I wish I could verbalize punctuation.
I carry around word balloons specifically for this purpose.

Yet another reason why I'd vote for Llewellyn in a hot second.
Anyone who takes anything I say seriously deserves what they get.

Am I missing something - or rather Llelwellyn? Since when did he not wear trousers?

Ever since DCS took a couple of weeks off to do all of those sketches.

I think it's pretty obvious DCS didn't feel like writing a bunch of Llewellyn-text so he just left the speech bubbles blank.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but it's part of the joke. :P Speech bubbles have always been a way to show that a character is talking. But if it's blank... they're not saying anything!

Or perhaps what they're saying is inaudible mayhap. I've seen talking circles used in that way before.

There was a strip in the last year in which he announced that he was going to cut down on extravagances, including pants. Since then, we've seen him a few times with pants and the rest of the time without.

I like seeing Llewellyn pantsless. Like father like son!
