I was voted quietest in the senior class this year by my peers. (My picture was taken for my yearbook, and I was wearing my Define Cynical shirt in it ) This raises in interesting question, though.

Wouldn't the actual 'Quietest' be too quiet to be noticed, and therefore not win the award?

Here's my theory:

Whoever is voted 'Quietest' is actually the one who says the least stupid stuff. Think about it. Stupidity is associated with loudness, and if you're loud, you're not quiet. The more smart things you say, the less the stupid things are noticed. Quietness is also associated with intelligence. Therefore, the one with the highest "smart to stupid" ratio will win Quietest. Ozy seems like he'd win Quietest by a landslide when he becomes a high schooler.

As for the zen thing, it's like being quiet by being loud. Or loud by quietude. Or something.

At least you weren't voted "most likely to eat the Pope."

Your theory about the "Quietest" makes sense to me. Kind of a goofy honor to award, actually.

I would consider it an honor to be voted "most likely to eat the pope".

...of course, not that I actually would, but... it would be really funny.

You know what?

With one out of one vote cast, I officially declare myself Most Likely To Eat the Pope of my 2004 Senior Class.

Good thing. I imagine actually eating the Pope might cause some sort of diplomatic crisis.
I think your theory is a little stereotypical.

I think its closer to that those who're truly wise will know when and when not to talk, they'll talk as much as needed when the situation comes.

I think having a high probability of eating the pope would require two things:

A very outgoing and socially good nature that would allow one to approach the Pope without much difficulty

a knack for ensuing total chaos in the blink of an eye

In short, Millie would be pretty good, if her appetite were voracious enough.. Hm.. appetite. I guess that would count for something too.

And this is why you shouldn't go to church on an empty stomach.
