Does Millie listen to SoaD?

Hello Everyone! My name is Johnathan and I am new to this site. However I have been a fan of Ozy and Millie for some quite time now. Anyway as I read the strip I learned that Millie listens to some Artists that are against war (John Lennon, Bobby Delon). Naturally when I think of war protest I think of the band System of a Down. So I figured that if Millie likes bands that speak out against war wouldn't Millie listen to System of a down? I know what you may be thinking that Millie wouldn't listen to such trash and rubbish, but I have feeling that with SoaD's political message would probably attracted her a long time ago. Especially with songs like BYOB, War?, and Hypnotize. Anyway that is my opinion and you may think diffrently and that's okay. I don't mind since we all I have the right to freedom of speech. Well that's all I have for right now and you could expect to hear from me again pretty soon.
Thank you for listening
(by the way my avitar is an original sketch done by me. If you like it please tell me. Thank you.)

that is actually not true, one of my druggie friends listens to SoaD.
But also, I am not sure if Millie would listen to SoaD. Millie's musical influences are actually a reflection of the music that DCS likes, or liked when he was young, and he grew up in Washington state (meaning grunge rock). I haven't read the strip in a long time, but I believe that millie's musical preferences are folk and classic [/pop] rock. Based on DCS and what I'm remembering from the strip, I think Millie would be more interested in alternative (whatever the hell alternative means, really) than MEHTUL.

I appriciate your responses and actually System of a down is a alternative MEHTUL band. Also to those for whom do not like SoaD, you don't have to like them in order to agree or disagree with me.

I'd have called them pop-rock.

I like some of their stuff but I still can't see Millie listening to them because I can't see DCS listening to them.

You would be correct in this assessment. There is nothing particularly alternative or MEHTUL about them at all.

of course there isn't, but I still don't believe that Millie would particularly consider them a band that she enjoyed.

I picked up my sister while listening to Cigaro today. It was awkward.

Thank you all for the comments. It's interesting to hear all of you point of views. It gives me another paradgim to observe. Anyway to the last reply I must say that I do agree that some of SoaD's are stupid and wierd for my taste. However I still think that Millie would probably listen to some of their songs( mainly the political ones) and probably not get in trouble with her mom for listening to such garbage. I wish I could say the same for my mom.

By the way, don't ever revive old, irrelevant topics. Like this. Don't do this.
