I'm surprised I never replied to this... oh, right. I was on vacation when it began.
I think my favorite is Stephan, because he's one of the few characters who have never ticked me off. Sure, he can be a jerk sometimes, but at least DCS never presented his jerkiness in an "Isn't that cute?" light.
Who's your fave in the entire story?

For me, it's a toss-up between Millie and Timulty.
I have this friend who made me read O&M because he SWORE that I'm Millie and he's Ozy...and I see what he means. I make a lot of puns, and tend to make the world a weirder place, while he's usually under-reacting in a benignly sardonic, Waldorf and Statler kinna way; Hobbes to my Calvin.
So...I identify with Millie more than a bit, and one of the easiest ways to get me to like a character is to get me to identify with a character.
But I also love Timulty's innocence, his way of looking at the world.
So it's kind of a toss-up.
