Is it okay to ask this here? there's so much I want to catch up on, but my mom thinks its funny when Ozy has his hair curse so I wanted to ask whats happening with that. I just read that his dad says it isn't real? I'm confused. o.o

Or did it happen this year? I'm still going backwards in strips, lol, maybe thats confusing me, there's lots of them I don't remember.

Also, has Millie ever had the hair curse? It's not fair that its just Ozy that has to do it. Haha, she needs a haircut, my hair was over my eyes like hers too last week and my mom took me for a haircut. Lol, maybe Ozy would cut her hair, but he might go to far just so they're even.

Another instance of the hair curse + weaponized termites. Not lice, but close.

And mostly I'm just good at knowing what to search for after opening up the archive pages.

Lol but one time when I was really young my dad told me I stepped in an ants nest, I guess thats kinda the same. I don't remember it, but he told my my clothes were full of ants when he got them off. I guess Ozy has zen is why hes so calm? I'd be freaking out so much! I guess its different since hes a boy though.

Llewellyn may have made up the story behind the hair curse, but statistics would suggest that there is one regardless, whatever the origin. It's like the bygone Curse of the Bambino: There's probably nothing supernatural about it, but it makes for a popular explanation.

As for lice, well, why not? There are tiny insects in O&M that don't appear to be part of society. Only one has spoken, and that may not have been canon.

I used to be opposed to the hair curse, because the arctic fox's fur is thicker than that of other foxes so he can be super-warm in the winter.

That all changed in 2003, when i realized he looks skinnier with no fur. Since then, i've been wondering how it will strike every year.

Now Llewellyn says there is no curse. Maybe he'll explain the truth when it strikes Ozy next year. Or better yet, Ozy AND Millie at the same time. That way, Llewellyn can also tell Millie the truth on why it shifted to affect her in 2005.

And that pic DCS drew where Millie shaves herself bald? I like it a lot. That's why i've asked him to commission a follow-up picture. Still haven't received it yet, but i can wait a little longer.

Contagious curses, eh? Hope it doesn't spread to me. I look funny enough with my fur.

I went in and separated the colons from the ends of the URLs with a space. Eesh, I have to do everything.
