What you guys don't realize is that Medford, Oregon is the locality where another DC Simpson, although the DC stands for Daniel Christopher, lives and strangely enough also draws a comic called Osbourne and Cindy that appears in the local paper, the Medford Mirror.

Cut off the top part of the carrot, throw the bottom part at somebody, and stick the top part in a cup of water until the grass grows back. Then stick it in the ground and you'll grow a NEW carrot!

dont you know that carrots and potatos sold at hte market aren't rated for seed purposes
they might grow all deformed/nonresistant
