Ever wonder how many strips actually show the infamously pantless Ozy in pants? Well, I have documented it for you (hey, someone has to do it). Yes, as a result of unbelievable, extreme boredom, I found all the strips that show Ozy wearing pants (or something to that effect). The answer is 28.

http://www.ozyandmillie.org/1998/om1998 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/1999/om1999 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/1999/om1999 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2000/om2000 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2001/om2001 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2002/om20020101.html

http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2002/om20020521.html
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2002/om2002 ...
http://www.ozyandmillie.org/2002/om2002 ... br>
Yes, it's official. I will now go and start reading that book I've been putting off for the past few weeks, as the English work for it is due next week. Thank you and good night.

Gee, thanks for lowering the bar for us all! Now how many of them have him without his hat?

Would picking belly button lint out of my belly button lower the bar further?

The pants one is pretty easy as most situations in which Ozy wears pants are part of a larger storyline, or Halloween strips. The hat on the other hand would take much more research that I'm unwilling to do right now.

On a side note, I'm sure I missed a few strips but I think I got the majority. If you come across one that i don't have documented, feel free at add it. Or not. Depends how obsessive-compulsive you are. I just realized I missed the strip that I used for my own avatar. Wow, aren't I observant? At least I caught it before anyone else corrected me.

That's not too hard, especially when you recall hypnotism, and Isolde's babysitting job with Millie..

I think I can top your "least productive thing ever" award. Last year my school was closed for a full week thanks to a blizzard, and I was bored out of my mind. I was kinda new to O&M at the time, and I was pretty broke, so I decided to make my own O&M book with every strip printed out on hardcopy. Step one was to download every single strip individually (since this was before the archives were available in ZIP form), which took two days over cable modem (a day being 48 continuous hours, during which I didn't sleep). After a 12-hour nap, I used MS Publisher to arrange the strips into a printable form, 4 strips per page with about 300 pages. Since Publisher got kinda flaky at the mere mention of a 300 page document, I broke the project up into several 50-page sections. This phase took about 8 hours. Then, I spent four hours printing the sections, took a 12-hour nap, and spent an additional 12 hours printing the rest. Since my printer paper is a tad thin, I couldn't print two-sided, so I have 300 pages of paper stacked up. While waiting for my parking lot to be cleared, I wrote up some supplemental materials (character bios, extra art, FAQs, an intro to the strip, a cover for the book, etc). Once I was able to get my car out of the driveway, I went to Staples and bought a huge binder to house the printouts, the kind with outside pockets to put a cover in. I also purchased a small hole puncher, not realizing the incredible task it would be to hole-punch 300 pages, only doing them 5 at a time. The result? The entire O&M comic strip, from '97 through '03, on hardcopy inside one book. And if Mr. Simpson reads this, I assure you I have no plans to sell the thing. I intended for it to be a way to share the strip with my friends, not realizing until I'd finished that I don't know anyone who'd rather read it on paper than online, the image quality is better.

Why is this worthy of a "least productive" award? Because I wasted 327 sheets of paper and a whole HP black ink cartridge for nothing. Blah.

i say felix, that certianly was unproductive. even more unproductive than me reading d.c. instead of taking a nap before continuing the metric tonne of work i've got stacked up.

i think you and ozy_de_gurt ought to have a thumb wressling contest for the 'least productive ever' award.

Heh, I imagine it's easier to read than the books, since the strips wouldn't have been shrunken in size at all. Higher quality too, of course.

I'm surprised it only used one ink cartridge.

Well the cost of all five books would be in the neighbourhood of $60. I spent $5 on the binder, $4 on the hole puncher, and the paper & ink were free, thanks to the tech support department at my mom's office
